Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG

This virtual tasting takes a deeper dive into the increasingly dryer side of Prosecco Superiore. We will explore four wines from the newest typology – Extra Brut, created in 2019. You need a point of comparison, of course, so we will also taste Brut Prosecco Superiore, and a selection of fine Dry and Extra Dry (this sweeter expression being the norm in the UK market.)

This is a diverse but top quality range, with many wines newly available in the UK. Producers reflect the patchwork character of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, with wines both from smaller family estates and larger famous names. We have also selected wines to highlight the most historic and prized sites of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, with many Rive (single vineyard wines), as well as cuvées that tell the story of the different terroir zones. 

From small family aziende, to dynamic co-operatives, this tasting reveals the nuance and diversity of Prosecco Superiore DOCG.
