Contemporary Georgia

A virtual tasting to showcase the breadth of styles of wines available from Georgia today, from small artisan wineries to large scale outfits.  We will be tasting wines that are available in the UK market, as well as those seeking representation, to provide an overview of what Georgia is capable of.

This Virtual Tasting, led by Sarah Abbott MW, explores the terroir, varieties and methods of Georgia. It’s a great session for sommeliers, retail managers, communicators and educators who want to learn about Georgian wines and keep up to date with the wines being made there.

This tutored tasting of 12 wines is open to trade professionals, educators, and media.

Confirmed attendees will be sent 12 x 50ml bottles to taste during the session.
